Project Brief

AirWorkspace is a visionary platform that brings together businesses and community members generating smart income and networking opportunities. The platform has a unique listing system where the member having a renting space can add their listings free of cost and make them visible to the potential renters. Being a permission-based service, the members are allowed to accept or decline the bookings and enable payments in whichever way they want.

As for the businesses, the platform allows them to search the listings by location or facility and lease it by the hour, day, week or month. They can reach the host directly through the listings and receive a confirmation to start working on the booked dates.

Challenges

• Designing a systematic and easy-to-navigate website that allows users to log in, upload and view the listings.
• Allowing the community members to upload their listings free of cost.
• Providing the member with a choice to accept or decline any booking.
• Allowing the potential renters to browse through the listings available by location, categories and amenities simply at the click of a button.
• Introducing a login and sign up via Twitter, Google and LinkedIn.
• Letting the members include information like hours of operation, facilities, rental options, type of space, address, images, description, videos, price, and contact details.
• Classifying workplaces on the home page according to the latest updates and various categories like office, music, exercise etc.
• Allowing the users to check the listings by popular cities including London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
• Enabling only the registered users to contact the owners by clicking simply on the contact button.
• Designing a simplistic "Contact" form for the unregistered users to connect with the owners having fields like name, email and message.
• Adding sections for "Terms and Conditions", "Privacy Policy", “Company Information” and “FAQs”.

Solutions

• Developed a well-organised and easy-to-navigate website that allows users to log in, upload and view the listings.
• Enabling community members to upload their listings free of cost.
• The members are also provided with a feature of accepting or denying the bookings.
• The potential renters can browse through the uploaded listings by selecting location, categories and amenities just at a button's click.
• Designed a login and sign up form where the users can register via Twitter, Google and LinkedIn.
• The members are allowed to add hours of operation, facilities, rental options, type of space, address, images, description, videos, price, and contact details for their listings.
• The workplaces are arranged on the home page according to the newly added listings and categories such as office, music, exercise etc.
• The users can check the listings directly by popular cities including London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
• Only the registered users are allowed to contact the owners by clicking simply on the contact button.
• A simplistic "Contact" form is created for the unregistered users to connect with the owners by entering their name, email and message.
