Project Brief
'NutraGEN' is a gen-next eCommerce website that offers organic whole food nutrition products to promote balance, stamina, and individual well-being. The clients are located in San Diego. They are formulating and manufacturing the cleanest USDA Certified products along with cleansing programs that help rid your body of environmental toxins while incorporating a new sustainable lifestyle.
The website also allows healthcare practitioners to sign-up and check out the nutrition solutions that they could offer their patients. The members can log in to purchase these premium products and cleansing plans according to their requirements.
Challenges
- Creating a simplistic and engaging website that triggers customers to buy the nutrition solutions.
- Devising an introductory 'About Us' page for the brand.
- Creating a homepage with a 'Shop now' button, showcasing the featured products and cleanse plans.
- Having a login and signup form for members.
- Creating several tabs for the members like my account, my orders, wishlist, and cart where they can easily navigate without getting lost.
- Adding a separate 'Products' category for products listing and allowing users to filter them by retail products, price, or a drop-down sort by list having options like newest items, best selling, by review, etc.
- Displaying the product with image, description, ingredients, directions to use, and additional notes.
- Allowing the users to add the product to the cart with a subscription drop-down choice list including options like single purchase and 30, 60, 90-day subscriptions.
- Integrating a smooth and secure payment gateway.
- Creating a separate 'Program' category, where the users can fill a simple form by entering their basic information and download the cleanse program of their choice.
- Planning a 'Practitioner Information' page where the healthcare practitioners can sign-up and be benefitted from the products.
- Adding a 'Testimonial' page to allow the users to write about their experiences.
- Sketching a blog section to keep the users engaged with nutritional information.
- Adding FAQs, returns, and shipping sections to explain policies to the users and integrating social media into the website.
